She already owns property in New Orleans and her home-town of Austin, Texas.
But Oscar winning actress Sandra Bullock has decided to lay down some roots on the West Coast of the U.S as well.
The Blind Side star has forked over a whopping $23 million on a huge Tudor style mansion in Beverly Hills, California as a Los Angeles base for herself and her two-year-old adopted son Louis.
Set on more than four park-like acres and surrounded by an expansive lawn, the stately two-story house looks more like an Old English stately home than something you would find in the hills above Hollywood.
The main house, built in 1940, has a screening room, a library, a basement and it's own fully equiped gym.
There are seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms including a huge master suite bay windows and a luxurious bathroom with jacuzzi tub.
It has a giant chef's kitchen with stainless steel appliances and breakfast bar as well as doors that lead out onto a dining patio.
The interior of the house is still very traditional in style with wood panelled walls, dark wood floors and built in book cases.
Because of this, Sandra has reportedly chosen to fully renovate the property to suit her needs and tastes.
'It will take her a year to remodel the mansion and get it just how she wants it,' an insider said of the purchase.'
'It's a big project but when she's done it will be spectacular.'
The house offers panoramic views from downtown LA to the Pacific Ocean.
The park-like grounds include a swimming pool and a pool house with a large covered veranda and BBQ area, a tennis court and 270-degree views which run from city lights to the ocean.
Among previous owners of the house is Hard Rock Cafe co-founder Peter Morton, who sold the property late last year for $15.5 million, according to public records.
Bullock, 46, won a lead actress Oscar for her role in The Blind Side and has starred in such hit movies as The Proposal, Miss Congeniality and Speed.
Not long after her Oscar win she separated from her husband of five years, Jessie James, after it was revealed he had been cheating on her with a sting of women.
Sandra then moved her life to Austin, Texas, along with her newly adopted son, Louis Bardo, but has since decided to return to Los Angeles full time.
