Move over Jane Austen, it's the Brontë sisters' time to shine. Andrea Arnold's Wuthering Heights is due to arrive in the autumn, but first here's a world exclusive look at the first UK trailer and poster for Cary (Sin Nombre) Fukunaga's new version of Jane Eyre. It stars Mia Wasikowska of Alice in Wonderland and The Kids Are All Right and Michael Fassbender (Hunger, X-Men: First Class) as Rochester. The supporting cast includes Jamie Bell and Craig (Submarine) Roberts.
It's released in the UK on 9 September but it's already out in the US, where it scored plenty of critical plaudits, but the trailer we're seeing has been tailored for the UK market – one who might potentially be more familiar with the source material.
