Lee Min Ho Accident
Lee Min Ho was recently involved in a car accident on the set of SBS’s “City Hunter“!
On June 13th, a representative for the actor stated, “Today on the 13th at around 3:30 PM, there was an accident involving a partial destruction of a vehicle at a ‘City Hunter‘ filming near a lake in Ilsan. Even though the air bags burst upon strong impact and the front part of the car was completely smashed, Lee Min Ho fortunately did not receive any significant injuries.”
A picture of the accident scene was revealed as well, and it showed the car in which Lee Min Ho rode in was significantly damaged, implying that it could have led to an even more serious situation.
The rep added, “After the accident, Lee Min Ho was transported to a nearby hospital and has returned home to rest at around 6 PM after being cleared from any major injuries from test results. The filming has stopped completely and will resume depending on how this situation develops.”
A staff member who was in the car at the time is also being treated at the hospital.
Kim Young Seop CP of “City Hunter” stated, “We will have to see when we can resume filming depending on Lee Min Ho’s condition. This car chase scene amounted to around 7 – 8 minutes of footage but this interruption will not affect the broadcast schedule for this week.”

Lv Wan Rou
Love messages between Wang Xiao Fei and 25-year-old Harbin-born model-actress Lv Wan Rou (formerly Angelin Lv Lin) indicate he had two-timed his now-wife Barbie Hsu (Big S) before they were married, according to Apple Daily, as reported by May Daily.
A Hong Kong-based source revealed the 29-year-old South Beauty Restaurant Group heir got to know the sexy lingerie model through playing mahjong together and have often met up since then.
It is reported that their messages to each other include romantic exchanges from Xiaofei such as: "I've already lit the fire and I'm waiting for you" and "Missing you ... me too!" Lv Wan Rou posted pictures of her candle-lit dinner with Xiao Fei on her Weibo (the Chinese version of Twitter) but was asked to remove them by Barbie through another person, the report said.
The model has actually confessed to Taiwanese media on the matter.
"They married, leaving me hurt," Lv said. "(But) I know his situation. His marriage (with Barbie) is a commercial event and his mother is in control of everything."
She also revealed that Hsu was extremely angry and jealous when she discovered their relationship and kicked up a fuss with Xiao Fei.
"I know he is hen-pecked," she added.

Neil Patrick Harris
Neil Patrick Harris hosted the 65th Annual Tony Awards Sunday night and, as usual, he rocked it! With an utterly entertaining openly number, Harris proved that he was, once again, the perfect person to lead an award show honoring the singers and dancers of the Broadway world.
The other stars of the night were the cast, crew and creators of the Great White Way's smash hit Book of Mormon, which walked away with nine of the 14 awards it was nominated for. From the minds of South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the production won for Best Musical, but not before presenter Chris Rock noted that revealing the winner of the night's biggest award was pretty anti-climactic.
"Come on. We know what the Best Musical is. This is such a waste of time. It's like taking a hooker to dinner," Rock cracked.
But there were plenty of other surprising and entertaining moments during the broadcast, as Harris and former Tony host Hugh Jackman participated in a host singing/dancing battle. After the hilarious performance, Harris told Jackman, "That was tough. Now I know why you're all six-pack-y."
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe showed off his musical talents while performing a number from How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying with costar John Laroquette. The former Night Court star then took home his first Tony for his role in the show, and thanked Radcliffe, whom without he would be "sitting at home in my underwear watching this."
The night was not without jokes aimed at the troubled Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, who Harris gave himself 30 seconds to make fun of. Later, the show's creators Bono and The Edge introduced a number from the production, joking, "We used to be famous for being in U2."
Tony's other big winners included Ellen Barkin for her role in The Normal Heart, which was also awarded with Best Play Revival, and Frances McDormand who took home the Lead Actress in a Play honor for her stint in Good People.
All in all, the Tony Award broadcast was as delightful and entertaining as one of the many shows you can buy a ticket to in NYC. But this was free -- and it starred Neil Patrick Harris. A total win-win for everyone involved.

Sandra Bullock
She already owns property in New Orleans and her home-town of Austin, Texas.
But Oscar winning actress Sandra Bullock has decided to lay down some roots on the West Coast of the U.S as well.
The Blind Side star has forked over a whopping $23 million on a huge Tudor style mansion in Beverly Hills, California as a Los Angeles base for herself and her two-year-old adopted son Louis.
Set on more than four park-like acres and surrounded by an expansive lawn, the stately two-story house looks more like an Old English stately home than something you would find in the hills above Hollywood.
The main house, built in 1940, has a screening room, a library, a basement and it's own fully equiped gym.
There are seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms including a huge master suite bay windows and a luxurious bathroom with jacuzzi tub.
It has a giant chef's kitchen with stainless steel appliances and breakfast bar as well as doors that lead out onto a dining patio.
The interior of the house is still very traditional in style with wood panelled walls, dark wood floors and built in book cases.
Because of this, Sandra has reportedly chosen to fully renovate the property to suit her needs and tastes.
'It will take her a year to remodel the mansion and get it just how she wants it,' an insider said of the purchase.'
'It's a big project but when she's done it will be spectacular.'
The house offers panoramic views from downtown LA to the Pacific Ocean.
The park-like grounds include a swimming pool and a pool house with a large covered veranda and BBQ area, a tennis court and 270-degree views which run from city lights to the ocean.
Among previous owners of the house is Hard Rock Cafe co-founder Peter Morton, who sold the property late last year for $15.5 million, according to public records.
Bullock, 46, won a lead actress Oscar for her role in The Blind Side and has starred in such hit movies as The Proposal, Miss Congeniality and Speed.
Not long after her Oscar win she separated from her husband of five years, Jessie James, after it was revealed he had been cheating on her with a sting of women.
Sandra then moved her life to Austin, Texas, along with her newly adopted son, Louis Bardo, but has since decided to return to Los Angeles full time.

Robert Redford
Robert Redford: the Sundance Kid, the Downhill Racer who walked Barefoot In The Park with Jane Fonda in the 1967 film and later set up his own Sundance Institute to encourage young film-makers.
Good-looking blond guy with great teeth.
But what do we know of the tight-jeaned Californian who seems fairly intense and aloof, whose acting roles have seen him, for the most part, play fairly intense – and aloof – creatures?
Michael Feeney Callan’s study of his subject is forensic, researching even the lowest-hanging branches of the Redford family tree before concentrating on the young Bobby Redford’s early life.
He was born in 1936 in Brentwood and lived in a working-class neighbourhood close to Beverly Hills. Redford’s school was a mix of Cadillacs and blue-collar sensibilities, and he was often “carpooled” to school by movie stars such as Zachary Scott.
This potentially divisive world, we learn, created an angry(ish) young man, who didn’t do drugs or serious crime but drank lots of beers and got involved in a hubcap-stealing racket. However, mostly he gazed at his own navel, drew cartoons and played lots of sport to a decent level.
A baseball scholarship took Redford off to a minor university and at this point the book becomes interesting, revealing the subject’s real love to be art, so young Bobby set off for Europe to become a tortured artist and find himself. Months later he found himself starving in a lonely garret and returned home, soon to sign up for acting school in New York.
But was he an acting natural? One day in drama college, Redford was required to perform a song but chose not to, instead reciting an Edgar Allan Poe poem while leaping on and off window ledges.
We don’t know if this stunt was a way of avoiding having to look bad by singing because there’s no analysis of the moment. Nor is there any real analysis of why Redford very quickly landed stage and theatre roles.
What you do glean is that Redford took himself extremely seriously. After his very first film outing in Barefoot In The Park, he demanded script and casting approval for future movies, highlighting real savvy, if not confidence in his own ability.
When considered for the part of Butch Cassidy, then the lesser role, Redford clinched the film after arguing he’d be better as Sundance. He was right. Butch was the funnier, more angular character. Sundance was deep and moody. Interestingly, Redford, at the time, claimed there were too many jokes in the movie, but the writer doesn’t dissect this notion.
The strength of Callan’s book, written “in cooperation” with the subject, is the research detail. But its great weakness is that the detail goes too far: do we need the potted biographies of the Italian artists who inspired Redford?
And there seems a lack of willingness to dissect Redford’s character. What we need from a star biography is to know more than the fact that he hugs trees, protects the American wilderness and aims to explore the human condition. We need exploration of this particular human’s condition. We need to know, for example, whether there were ever frissons with the likes of co-stars Natalie Wood or Jane Fonda. We need to know if he plays the role of “serious filmmaker” because of some deep-seated insecurity. Does he lack the emotional range?
Callan’s biography is intelligent with plenty of integrity, a serious attempt to portray Redford as a serious examiner of the human condition, which can make it seriously dull at times.
Perhaps like the man himself. We can only guess.

Ricky Rivero
“Mula sa Puso” second unit director and actor Ricardo “Ricky” Rivero managed to drive himself to the Philippine Heart Center (PHC) despite sustaining multiple stab wounds in the chest area allegedly inflicted by a man identified in a report as Hans Ivan Ruiz.
"Umagang Kay Ganda" on June 13 cited statements from PHC security personnel that Rivero arrived at the hospital at around 4:20 Monday morning, telling the hospital staff that he was stabbed. Initial reports said that Rivero sustained 10 stab wounds; however, a PEP alert posted at around 2 p.m. reported that the actor-director has 17.
The stabbing allegedly occurred inside Rivero’s apartment on Masikap St. V. Luna , Brgy. Piñahan in Quezon City in the early hours of Monday. The police are said to be looking into robbery as motive since initial reports said that the director’s laptop was "stolen." Ruiz is now in police custody.
A separate report on abs-cbnnews.com said 22-year old Ruiz claimed having met the 39-year old Rivero on popular social networking Facebook. The suspect asserted that they’ve known each other for five months now.
The report also cited barangay authorities claiming that “Rivero brought Ruiz home after meeting him at around 11 p.m. in Timog Avenue, Quezon City,” and that Ruiz purportedly stabbed Rivero after the latter refused to give him money. The knife Ruiz allegedly used was found hidden “inside a fire truck at the barangay hall” by authorities.
More, Ruiz was said to have attempted to escape with the director’s laptop among other things; however, he “came back [to Rivero’s apartment] to clean the crime scene” where he was caught by responding barangay officials.
A third report published on gmanews.tv on Monday related that Quezon City Police District PO3 Antonio Torrente said the stabbing incident occurred at around 3 a.m. Prior, Rivero and Ruiz had an argument. According to Rivero, as quoted by Torrente, he was roused from sleep when he felt Ruiz stabbing him.
In a separate report by Inquirer.net also on Monday, Ruiz said he took no part in the crime, adding that Rivero asked him to spend the night at his apartment.
Ruiz further asserted that he did not stab Rivero, saying, “Natutulog lang po kaming dalawa tapos sumigaw siya sa akin na ‘Huwag mo akong saksakin.’ Claiming that he offered to take the actor-director to the hospital, Ruiz told the Inquirer that he has no idea where the knife he saw beside Rivero was from.
Aside from being stabbed, the Inquirer cited initial reports saying that Rivero was also strangled after trying to escape from Ruiz. It was only when Rivero finally got outside of his apartment that he was able to “shout for help from his neighbors.”
Ruiz, who was caught by the police holding Rivero’s laptop bag, defended himself by saying that it was Rivero who “instructed him to get valuables from his home before heading to the hospital.”
The suspect said that he and Rivero are just friends and that he sleeps over only when the director asks him to, which is a rare occurrence as he put it.
Meanwhile, Rivero has been transferred to and is getting treatment at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City, accompanied by his landlady and his brother. He is now in a stable condition. According to another PEP alert posted at 3 p.m., the suspect will be brought today to St. Luke's for identification by Rivero.

Simi Garewal
She may be well over 60, but feels as young as 23! Veteran actress Simi Garewal is ready to quiz young and single celebrities like Ranbir Kapoor and Siddharth Mallya on her new show India's Most Desirable and says she is far from experiencing a generation gap.
"Genuinely, I feel I'm 23. What can I do about it? That's how I feel! I have never felt younger or older with anybody," Simi from Mumbai.
The actress has interviewed actors like Anil Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and liquor-baron Vijay Mallya on her earlier talk show Rendezvous With Simi Garewal. But for her latest chat show, which goes on air starting Sunday, she has their children as her guests. But Simi isn't fretting!
"I have got very young people on my show earlier as well! On Rendezvous..., I had the new stars who were in the limelight... Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan and everyone. So I never felt there was an age or generational factor and I don't think my guests feel that either," said the confident lady whose charisma can still make many new actresses look pale.
Attempting to unveil those unknown facets of the celebrities that make them desirable, Simi says experience and knowledge are pre-requisites for someone hosting such a show.
"It's very important for a host of a show to be experienced. It is only with experience that you can deal with all age groups. If I was 17, I don't think I would have been able to deal with all these celebrities, handle them and bring out the best in them. It is only with experience and maturity that you can do that," she said.
The actress, who charmed audiences with films like Mera Naam Joker and Karz three decades ago, agrees there is an over-exposure of celebrities these days through rampant film promotions and social networking sites, but she has no problems hunting for questions!
"I don't have a problem in finding questions. They come like second nature to me. I have done interviews all my life. By god's grace and blessings, I didn't have a problem with questions at all. I can get a feel of the pulse of the people I interview and that makes my job easy," added the graceful actress.
Over the years, not much has changed about the actress but she hopes her "charm is still there" and promises the viewers will get to see a "far more laidback and relaxed and informal" side of her on India's Most Desirable.

She also says that she wishes someone had told her how hard it would be to leave a new bundle of joy.

Lily Allen
Lily Allen has two reasons to smile.
The British singer wed her longtime beau, art dealer Sam Cooper, on Saturday -- and also announced she's pregnant.
Her new hubby reportedly shared their secret that Allen, 26, is a few months along with well-wishers at the reception. Her rep later confirmed the happy news.
Allen's bump was barely visible under her lacy Delphine Manivet gown -- but her happiness was clear, as the bride beamed and waved to fans outside the centuries-old church in the English countryside where she and Cooper said "I do."
About 100 guests watched Allen walk down the aisle, while 300 were in attendance for the reception, which was held on the grounds of an estate she owns in Cranham.
Her father, actor-musician Keith Allen, walked her down the aisle. He later serenaded the couple with a ukulele.
"It's beautiful that she is pregnant, and I am very happy for her," Allen’s designer Manivet told Britain's The Telegraph. "She is very happy about that – it is something wonderful. For me, and for her too, when you're pregnant you want to show that, but also be respectful, so the dress was perfect for her for that moment."
The newlyweds first began dating in 2009 and got engaged last December, just two months after Allen suffered a miscarriage while six-months-pregnant.

Back in February, for husband Carmelo Anthony‘s much anticipated debut as a New York Knick, LaLa stayed stylish on the sidelines, posting a TwitPic of her “game shoe” — the Change of the Guard sandal, which conveniently resembles the Knicks’ team color! Then, on Apr. 7, Kourtney Kardashian wore the same shoes while gallivanting around LA. Just three days later, little sis Khloe paired the pumps with matching jeans while enjoying dinner with hubby Lamar at paparazzi playground Katsuya. If they were a normal family, I’d say that maybe they shared the shoes, but after we got a glimpse into Khloe’s gargantuan closet, chances are they both happen to own the same pair. Ah, the sweet life of a basketball wife!
Depending on the rest of the outfit, these shoes can really be a hit or miss. I love what Kourtney did with them, but I wish Amanda Bynes would have gone a little less bold, especially considering the basic, recognizable (not to mention slightly overused) design of the Leger she wore. Regardless, these are truly an example of Louboutin’s impeccable craftsmanship, and we are always waiting for his next collection!

Lily Allen
There’s been a lot of drama surrounding Lily Allen’s wedding, what with her (Heat-inspired!) invite being leaked, all that Kate Moss rivalry and the usual slanging matches that seem to follow lippy Lily, but she’s finally got hitched to her builder beau, Sam Cooper! And doesn’t she make a beeaaaautiful bride!
It seems she did get the intimate ceremony she was after as less than 100 close friends and family watched the radiant star walk down the aisle at the quaint St James Church in Cranham, Gloucestershire. Of course, given her showbiz credentials, those ‘close friends’ did include a fair few celebs – family pals Harry Enfield and Angus Deayton were among the crowd andMiquita Oliver, who wore a floaty peach number, was one of her bridesmaids. Security was inevitably tight and privacy-conscious Lil even shelled out for extra policing but thankfully that didn’t stop us from getting some lovely pics!
After a particularly tough year, the singer/designer/Twitter addict looked happy as Larry as she emerged from the church with her ‘normal’ husband in a gorgeous 20s-inspired Chanel dress. The lace creation, which had a touch of the K-Middy about it, was designed by the very sophisticated sounding, Delphine Manivet. She teamed the retro-style dress with an elaborate floral headdress (which made her look a little bit like a bridal version of Princess Leia) and a pretty bouquet of peach, pale blue and cream. All very English country garden.
Continuing the old-fashioned theme, the new Mrs Cooper and her proud hubby started married life in style, driving off in a vintage Bentley. The reception is said to be taking place in the garden of Lily’s nearby country pile. We doubt it’s going to be as modest as it sounds!

CBE
Colin Firth, already enjoying an Oscar-winning year, has been appointed a CBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours.
The actor, who won an Oscar for playing King George VI in the King's Speech, was recognised for services to drama.
It comes 16 years after he achieved heart-throb status as Jane Austen's brooding hero, Mr Darcy, in the BBC TV adaptation of Pride And Prejudice.
His other films include Bridget Jones's Diary, Fever Pitch and the Abba-themed movie musical Mamma Mia.
Firth also picked up a Bafta and numerous other awards for portraying the Queen's father in the King's Speech. The monarch herself may now present him with a CBE medal at a future Buckingham Palace investiture.
Radio 4 Woman's Hour presenter Jenni Murray and veteran actress Janet Suzman were both made dames in the honours list.
And Strictly Come Dancing host Bruce Forsyth received a knighthood for services to entertainment and charity.
Sir Bruce told the BBC he was "so happy and so relieved in a way", after years of speculation about when he would receive a knighthood.
"When I got the CBE [in 2005] there'd been speculation every year and I think there's been too much talk about it, so I'm thrilled at last it has happened," the entertainer said.
"I feel very proud that my career hasn't been in vain. I just love getting out there and performing and this is a reward that I never expected and hope I'm worthy of."
BBC director general Mark Thompson said: "I'm delighted that Bruce has received this honour, just as his millions of fans will be."
Singer Bryan Ferry, whose hits with Roxy Music include Love Is The Drug and Virginia Plain, said it was "a great honour" to receive his CBE.
Creators of The Goodies, Graeme Garden and Tim Brooke-Taylor, who both received OBEs for services to light entertainment, said they were thrilled with the recognition, after spending years poking fun at the honours system.
"It's quite ironic considering how rude we were about the honours all those years ago," Garden said.
Brooke-Taylor added: "I'm very, very pleased and not to say a little surprised - but very pleasantly so. At first I thought it was my son trying to con me."
The award means that the entire Goodies trio have now been given the honour. Colleague Bill Oddie was given his OBE in 2003 for services to wildlife conservation.
OBEs also go to Nowhere Boy director and artist Sam Taylor Wood, veteran actor Bernard Cribbins, who narrated The Wombles, and BBC Radio 2 DJ "Whispering" Bob Harris.
The broadcaster said: "It's an incredible honour. I never would have dreamt it."
Author Julia Donaldson, who is best known for The Gruffalo and was appointed the new Children's Laureate earlier this week, received the same honour. Donaldon said her husband had teased her about her successful week.
"It was shortly after I'd heard I was going to be the Children's Laureate, and then a card came, or a letter came, through the letterbox on House of Commons notepaper, saying that the prime minister was going to recommend me to the Queen, so that was very exciting.
"And then, the next day, I got a letter from the Archbishop of Canterbury, and my husband said, 'Maybe it'll be God next!' You... don't know what's going to come through the letterbox next."
Also in the arts world, Donmar Warehouse artist director Michael Grandage, National Portrait Gallery director Sandy Nairne, artist Gillian Ayres and textile designer Celia Birtwell were appointed CBEs.
Artists Gillian Wearing and Edward De Waal received OBEs while novelist Kate Atkinson, whose book Case Histories has been adapted for BBC One, was made an MBE.
Mark Huffam, whose film production credits include Saving Private Ryan and Mamma Mia, becomes a CBE, and there is an OBE for Alex Hope, who runs visual effects company Double Negative and won an Oscar this year for his work on Inception.
